Role description

AWS Cloud Support Associate Fresher assists with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to AWS services. They support experienced engineers, learn about cloud infrastructure, and help ensure system reliability. By gaining hands-on experience, they contribute to maintaining and optimizing cloud environments while developing their technical skills.

Overview

We are looking for a motivated Trainee AWS Engineer with 0-6 months of experience to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in cloud computing. As a Trainee AWS Engineer, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship while working on real-world projects. You will learn to manage and optimize AWS services, support cloud infrastructure and contribute to the deployment and maintenance of cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities

Engage in on-the-job training to gain a deep understanding of AWS services, architecture and best practices. Participate in training sessions and certification programs to build AWS expertise. Assist in monitoring and maintaining AWS infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability. Help with troubleshooting issues related to AWS services and applications under the guidance of senior engineers. Learn to deploy and configure AWS resources such as EC2 instances, S3 buckets and RDS databases. Support the automation of infrastructure tasks using AWS tools and services like CloudFormation, Lambda and IAM. Assist in implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Learn about identity and access management, data encryption and other security measures in AWS. Help create and maintain documentation for AWS infrastructure, configurations and procedures. Assist in generating reports on system performance, cost management and security audits. Work closely with senior AWS engineers and other IT teams to understand business requirements and contribute to cloud solutions. Provide basic support to internal teams and users for AWS-related inquiries and issues.

Requirements

0-6 months of experience with cloud computing, preferably with AWS. Basic understanding of cloud concepts and AWS services. Familiarity with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS and IAM is a plus. Basic knowledge of networking, Linux, and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
