Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Lead to own the architecture and engineering delivery of the RTR (Reconciliation, Transaction Processing & Regulatory Reporting) platform for the wealth management business. The role will lead backend/integration engineering, drive scalable architecture, and embed AI capabilities into core financial workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical delivery for reconciliation engines, transaction pipelines, regulatory reporting and RTA/exchange integrations.

• Own HLD/LLD, API contracts, data models and integration specifications.

• Lead and mentor a team of 4–8 backend engineers.

• Drive scalability, fault tolerance, idempotency and data correctness for high-volume financial transactions.

• Establish engineering standards around code quality, testing, CI/CD and deployment governance.

• Own production reliability, incident management, RCA and preventive controls.

• Implement AI-based exception handling, anomaly detection and regulatory report validation.

• Work closely with Product, Compliance and Operations teams.

• Manage integrations with BSE StarMF, NSE NMF-II, CAMS, KFintech, CKYC, Account Aggregator and NPCI.

• Drive modernization of legacy batch processes into event-driven microservices using Kafka.

Domain Experience

Candidates should have exposure to the Indian wealth management technology ecosystem, including MF transaction platforms, RTA systems, exchange connectivity and regulatory reporting.

SEBI / AMFI compliance experience

Account Aggregator, V-CIP and CKYC integrations

AI/ML in financial platforms

Anomaly Detection / NLP / AI-assisted Reconciliation

Experience with AMC, RTA, Wealth-Tech or NBFC technology teams.

AI Expectations

Hands-on adoption of Copilot, Cursor and Claude for AI-assisted development.

Build AI-augmented features for exception handling and anomaly detection.

Define measurable AI outcomes to reduce manual intervention in reconciliation workflows.

Education

B.Tech / B.E. – Computer Science from a reputed institution.

Ideal Candidate: A strong Backend/Technical Lead with Node.js, Microservices, Kafka, Database, API and Architecture expertise, preferably from FinTech / WealthTech / AMC / RTA / NBFC with exposure to AI-driven financial platforms.
