What will you manage?

Job Description:

Leading the project design lifecycle that includes the various project phases like understanding the client requirement, Preparation of detail design/documentation/calculations, Approval of design/documentations from customer, ordering the required material to the factory and support to Project, Management/Factory/Commissioning team for successful execution of the Project. 

  • Review customer specifications and ensure clarity in drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Provide technical expertise & guidance to drafting support team
  • Defining the products, components, and subsystems to be used.
  • Designing and building the system by integrating various components & technologies to satisfy the specified requirements of the customer.
  • Responsible for the realization of the system with the required functionality and preparing the design documentation.
  • Preparing/reviewing complete engineering documents like including GA, SLD, schematic drawings, CT/PT calculation, AC/DC calculations, FAT/SAT, GTP, TTR, Signal list, etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring approvals & leading customer discussions virtually & in person
  • Loading/Releasing indents to the factory for ordering & manufacturing
  • Supporting Project Management/Factory/Commissioning/logistics team for the successful execution of the project
  • Maintain and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Quality Objectives for the engineering function.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering, 10-15 years’ experience strong focus on control and protection schematics of medium voltage distribution systems
  • Solid understanding of medium voltage power distribution system and AIS panels
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings and standards, IS/IEC standards applicable for MV systems
  • Familiarity with Master-Slave and Client-Server architectures, IEC 61850 protocol, and computer networking principles.
  • Proficiency in serial and Ethernet-based communication protocols will be a plus.
  • Hands on Experience/knowledge design software like AutoCAD, ELCAD, Promis, E plan, E Base tools
  • Quick learner with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Strong Customer expectation management
  • Available to travel for national and international business trips on need basis.
