Software Developer - WordPress & WooCommerce

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress plugins and themes based on business requirements.

  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot WooCommerce stores and functionalities.

  • Contribute to Shopify app and theme development as required.

  • Write clean, secure, and scalable code following WordPress standards.

  • Integrate REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party services.

  • Use AI-assisted tools for coding, debugging, testing, and documentation.

  • Resolve compatibility, performance, and production issues efficiently.

  • Collaborate using Git/GitHub and Jira, communicate with clients, and take ownership from requirements to deployment.

Requirements

• Around 2 years of experience in PHP and WordPress development, with working knowledge of React and Node.js.

  • Strong experience in WordPress plugin and theme development, with good hands-on expertise in WooCommerce.

  • Basic to good understanding of Shopify app and theme development.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and AJAX.

  • Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, third-party integrations, MySQL, and WordPress database APIs.

  • Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub and familiarity with Jira or similar task management tools.
