Shopify Developer (Fresher)

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of Shopify stores for international clients
• Work on Shopify theme customisation and development using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Support backend tasks including Shopify app integration, third-party APIs, payment gateways, and shipping modules
• Implement UI/UX improvements and new features on existing stores
• Troubleshoot, debug, and fix Shopify app-related issues
• Work with senior developers to deliver scalable and performant solutions
• Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, maintainable code standards

Requirements

• 1-2 years of Shopify-focused experience or relevant academic/internship projects
• Strong understanding of Shopify as a CMS - product, collection, page, and blog management
• Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with Shopify app integration including third-party APIs, payment gateways, and shipping modules
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for apps, integrations, and performance issues
• Familiarity with the Shopify Partner ecosystem, app deployment, and store setup
• Understanding of databases and basic server-side concepts
• Problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail
