Senior QA Automation Engineer (SDET)

APPIT Software Solutions is hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer (SDET) in Bangalore, India. Build and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks for enterprise applications at APPIT Software in Bangalore.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test automation frameworks from scratch
• Write automated tests for UI, API, and performance testing
• Integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines
• Implement contract testing for microservices
• Establish QA metrics and quality gates
• Mentor junior QA engineers on automation best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA automation experience
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
• Experience with CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Understanding of performance testing tools (k6, JMeter)

Nice to Have

• Experience with visual regression testing
• Knowledge of contract testing (Pact)
• Experience with mobile app testing
