Senior Node.js Backend Engineer

APPIT Software Solutions is hiring a Senior Node.js Backend Engineer in Hyderabad, India. Design and build robust backend systems and APIs using Node.js and Express at APPIT Software in Hyderabad.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Build microservices architecture with proper service boundaries
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Optimize database queries and implement caching strategies
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for backend services
• Lead technical design discussions and architecture reviews

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development with Node.js
• Strong experience with Express.js or Fastify
• Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis
• Experience with message queues (BullMQ, RabbitMQ)
• Understanding of microservices patterns and distributed systems
• Knowledge of API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, rate limiting)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Prisma ORM
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture
• Experience with gRPC
