Job description
Key Purpose of the Job :
- Development of Induction motor/high efficiency special electric machines(PMSM, Syn Rel)
Educational Qualification / Experience required :
- Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience of 2 to 7 years in Mechanical motor industry
- Hands on experience in Mechanical design of Induction motors/PMSM/Syn Rel
Key Responsibilities :
1. Responsible for Mechanical design, proto building and proving
2. Responsible for Engineering change management of designs and statutory approvals
- Understand the VOC and prepare the design strategy
- Structural/Thermal/Rotor dynamic design of motor,cowork with electrical team to achieve optimum thermal/mechanical performance
- Assess the impact of motor performance due to mechanical stress and arrive at the optimum design to test ratio
- Awareness on IEC/NEMA standard approval for Standard mounting/dimension/Noise/Vibration and Ingress protection
