Senior AutoCAD Designers lead complex design projects, creating precise 2D and 3D drawings while ensuring they meet all technical standards. They oversee junior designers, provide expert guidance, and collaborate closely with engineers and clients to deliver high-quality design solutions. Their experience ensures accuracy and efficiency in every project.
Overview
As a Senior Auto-CAD Designer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end creation of detailed 3D models, sub-assemblies, and main assemblies for various machine parts. You will lead design projects and collaborate with a talented team of engineers to develop innovative solutions. Mastery in industry-standard mechanical software (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.) and strong communication skills are essential for excelling in this role.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and management of complex mechanical and architectural drawings, as well as 3D models. Architecture :- Building with front facia, floor plans, walls, doors, windows as per your requirement & standards. Structure :- Beams, columns, slabs, floors, etc. Mechanical :- RCU's, AHU's, CSU, HVAC Ducts, HVAC Piping, Evaporation & condensation systems with compressors, chillers, Hot water pipes, Chilled Water pipes, Condensed water pipes. Develop and refine designs that meet technical and functional requirements. Utilize advanced CAD technologies to create accurate plans and detailed designs. Ensure product designs comply with all relevant regulations and standards. Oversee the conceptualization, planning, and development of mechanical designs for new products. Establish and implement testing protocols, validating the integrity and functionality of new designs. Prepare and review comprehensive technical drawings, plans, and specifications using relevant CAD software. Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers and engineers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Solid understanding of engineering principles and extensive experience in designing mechanical systems and products. Proven track record in the mechanical engineering field, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Advanced computer skills with extensive hands-on experience in AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, Creo, etc. Expertise in interpreting and creating detailed mechanical and architectural drawings. Strong attention to detail and exceptional visualization capabilities. Ability to integrate feedback and make necessary adjustments to designs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
