QA Intern

Role description

The QA Intern supports the quality assurance team in testing software applications to ensure they meet the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and performance. This internship role involves executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. The QA intern also assists in documenting test results and refining testing processes.

Overview

Internship duration: 6 months. As a Quality Assurance (QA) Fresher, you will be responsible for assisting in the testing and validation of software applications. This role involves executing test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring that the software meets the required standards before deployment. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

Assist in the execution of test cases across various software applications. Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools. Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and deliverables. Perform manual testing to ensure software functionality, reliability, and performance. Participate in the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans and test cases. Conduct regression testing to verify that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality. Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvement within the QA team.

Requirements

Basic understanding of software development and quality assurance principles. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools is a plus. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
