Project Manager - Shopify

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Shopify store strategy, development, deployment, and optimisation for enterprise clients
• Manage Shopify Plus and high-volume store projects with focus on scalability, performance, and business impact
• Align development and marketing teams to achieve client goals and drive measurable growth
• Oversee Shopify app integrations, theme customisation, and third-party tool implementations
• Develop and manage project plans including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies
• Serve as the primary client point of contact, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication
• Translate technical concepts into business value for senior stakeholders and C-Suite clients
• Guide clients on Shopify marketing strategies - Meta Ads, Google Ads, Email Marketing, SEO, and CRO
• Conduct post-project reviews to ensure client satisfaction and improve future delivery

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience within the Shopify ecosystem - theme development, API usage, app integrations
• Proven experience managing enterprise or high-volume Shopify stores including Shopify Plus
• Strong understanding of eCommerce marketing strategies: paid media, email marketing, SEO, and CRO
• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Asana, or Trello
• Strong analytical skills using Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, heat-mapping, and A/B testing
• Experience with advanced integrations: ERP/CRM sync, headless commerce, custom checkout workflows
• Prior experience in a digital marketing or eCommerce agency environment preferred
