Power BI Developer (6+ years) – India

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our team to design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI Dashboards for both local and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of business intelligence solutions, including requirements gathering, data modeling, and production support. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation to drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop sophisticated Power BI dashboards and visual reports.

• Perform end-to-end Power BI implementation, including dataset setup and gateway configuration.

• Publish projects to the cloud and manage cloud connections.

• Provide L2 support, maintenance, and enhancements for existing reporting solutions.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.

• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement effective solutions.

• Estimate workloads, identify project risks, and develop mitigation strategies.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 6 years of total professional experience, with 4 years specifically in relevant BI roles.

• Strong expertise in Power BI visual design, M Query, and DAX.

• Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts and Oracle DB.

• Proficiency in PL/SQL and advanced SQL querying.

• Hands-on experience with Power BI Gateway, dataset management, and cloud deployment.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact directly with business personnel.

• Proven experience in preparing functional and technical documentation.
