Playwright Testing
Experiance - 5yrs to 10yrs
Location - Bangalore , Chennai, Pune, Coimbatore
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks using Selenium and Playwright for web applications.
- Develop and execute automation scripts using JavaScript with Playwright, ensuring high test coverage and reliability.
- Build reusable, maintainable, and efficient automation components aligned with best practices.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing as part of CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with stakeholders to ensure timely defect resolution.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in Test Automation using tools such as Selenium and/or Playwright.
- Minimum 2+ years of strong hands‑on experience with Playwright.
- 2+ years of experience in Automation Script Development using JavaScript.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Java and solid understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts.
- Experience in designing automation frameworks and test utilities from scratch.
- Good understanding of test automation best practices, test lifecycle, and defect management.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools is a plus.
