As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail Technical Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and supporting our dynamic retail solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform. This role requires staying current with emerging Microsoft technologies and retail industry trends to continuously improve our retail platform’s capabilities and user experience. You will mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.

Position Summary

The Senior Software Engineer will be instrumental in delivering high-quality Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions focused on Retail, Finance, and Supply Chain domains. This role demands hands-on technical expertise in developing, customizing, and deploying enterprise-grade applications, as well as providing ongoing production support for live D365 implementations.

The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the Dynamics 365 technical architecture and demonstrate a proven track record of implementing complex customizations and system extensions. Responsibilities also include managing deployment pipelines and release processes to ensure smooth transitions between development, testing, and production environments.

Experience supporting mission-critical production systems is crucial, along with a strong understanding of Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD methodologies to enhance deployment efficiency and reliability. This role combines technical proficiency with problem-solving aptitude to resolve issues swiftly and maintain system stability.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5-8 years of practical experience developing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform, with a focus on Retail module.
• Comprehensive understanding of Dynamics 365 technical framework and underlying architecture.
• Proficiency in X++, .NET Framework, C#, and building/executing APIs for integration purposes.
• Strong experience in technical customizations, system extensions, and implementing upgrades within Dynamics 365 environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of deployment strategies, release management, and supporting systems in a production setting.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and expertise in designing CI/CD pipelines tailored for Dynamics 365 solutions.
