Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) L2 Administrator to manage and support Linux-based systems. Must have 3-5 years of Linux Administrator L2. The candidate will handle incident management, troubleshooting, system maintenance, and ensure high availability and performance of servers in production environments.

Job Location: Navi Mumbai

Education Criteria: BE/BTECH/MCA/MSC-IT (Fulltime)

Key Responsibilities:- Provide Level 2 support for RHEL systems in production environments
- Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of RHEL servers
- Monitor system performance, availability, and troubleshoot issues
- Handle incident, problem, and change management as per ITIL processes
- Perform patching, OS upgrades, and security hardening of Linux systems
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control
- Work on filesystem management (LVM, partitions)
- Troubleshoot CPU, memory, disk, and network issues
- Configure and manage services like SSH, NFS, FTP, DNS, etc.
- Coordinate with application and infrastructure teams for issue resolution
- Configure and maintain Pacemaker cluster
- Automation | Shell scripting or Ansible 
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs)Technical Skills Required:Strong knowledge of RHEL 8/9 administration
Hands-on experience with:LVM, file systems, disk management
System performance tuning
Linux networking (IP, DNS, routing, firewall)- Experience with patch management (YUM / DNF)
- Understanding of security best practices (SELinux, firewall)
- Familiarity with shell scripting (Bash)
- Basic knowledge of virtualization (VMware)
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible) – preferredSoft Skills:- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work in 24x7 support shifts 
- Team player with proactive attitudePreferred Certifications:RHCSA / RHCE (preferred)
