Head of Engineering

Architect and build a full-stack wealth management platform from the ground up as a founding engineering leader.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect backend systems and APIs using Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Design scalable services and data models for financial products including stocks, mutual funds, and PMS.
• Lead integrations with KYC, custodians, transaction systems, and financial data providers.
• Establish engineering best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and secure infrastructure.
• Hire, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of backend engineering experience.
• 2-3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Strong system design and architecture skills.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Hands-on coding expertise with a focus on security, testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience building multi-asset financial systems or scalable B2B/B2C platforms.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, or MongoDB.
• Experience with AWS/GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to regulatory compliance, including KYC and audit requirements.
