Required Skills:
SEO Technical + on-page + content strategy. Can explain why a product page with 8,000
impressions converts at 0.6% CTR and fix it.
Email Automation Built full lifecycle sequences (onboarding, renewal, win-back) in Mautic, HubSpot,
ActiveCampaign, or equivalent.
Google Ads Managed plugin, SaaS, or software PPC campaigns from scratch. Knows negative
keywords, Quality Score, ROAS targets.
GA4 Beyond reading dashboards — can set up event tracking, custom reports, and funnel
analysis.
Copywriting Can write product page copy that converts technical users (WooCommerce store owners)
without fluff.
Data Literacy Makes decisions from numbers. Comfortable in GSC, GA4, and Ads Manager without
hand-holding.
AI Tools Uses Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Surfer SEO, or equivalent tools daily. Can
demonstrate how AI accelerates their output — not just aware of AI, actively fluent in it.
Minimum experience: 3+ years in a growth or performance marketing role for a software, SaaS, or plugin
product.
