Hiring a Director of QE to build a next-gen quality engineering function leveraging AI, agentic automation, and platform engineering to deliver secure, compliant, and resilient banking software and systems at scale.


What will you contribute?
Transformed QE for Banking Software and Platforms

  • Built platform-based automation at scale
  • Introduced AI/automation-led productivity improvements

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

1. QE Strategy & Transformation

  • Define enterprise QE vision aligned to engineering priorities
  • Embed quality across SDLC, CI/CD, and production
  • Shift to engineering-owned quality model

2. AI & Agentic QE Adoption

  • Deploy intelligent test generation, self-healing automation, defect analytics
  • Introduce predictive release risk & autonomous quality workflows
  • Establish governance for responsible AI adoption

3. Automation & QE Platforms

  • Standardize frameworks across API, microservices, integration, UI, data layers
  • Build reusable QE accelerators and platforms
  • Enable continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines

4. Non-Functional & Production Quality

  • Lead performance, resilience, and data integrity validation
  • Implement contract testing, service virtualization, observability-driven quality

5. Metrics, Governance & Compliance

  • Define KPIs: defect leakage, release confidence, cycle time, automation ROI
  • Ensure auditability and regulatory alignment (Banking Software / SaaS context)

    Required Experience:
  • 14+ years in QE / Engineering Excellence with leadership experience
  • Strong background in banking / financial services platforms
  • Proven track record of QA → QE transformation (automation-first model)
  • Deep expertise in: Microservices, APIs, cloud-native architectures CI/CD, DevSecOps, distributed systems Automation frameworks & non-functional testing
  • Exposure to AI-enabled QE (LLM-based testing, predictive analytics, intelligent automation)
