Job description
Build and maintain data processes using Python and AWS to deliver incremental value to global project teams.
This role is on-site.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global project teams to deliver project requirements and internal/external client value.
- Develop and maintain data processes using Python and AWS services.
- Write complex queries and manage data within columnar database technologies like Redshift.
- Leverage CI/CD pipelines to build and test application code.
- Utilize version control systems to manage source code and maintain standards.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of applied experience in software engineering concepts.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Proficiency with AWS services including Postgres, Glue, and Lambda.
- Hands-on experience with Public Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and Terraform.
- Experience with Linux and UNIX environments.
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M, AutoSys, or similar.
- Competency with source code versioning tools like Subversion or Bitbucket.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of C++ and UNIX Shell scripting.
