Business Analyst – Post-Sales (IT)

About the job:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct client discovery calls to understand business goals, website requirements, features, and project expectations, and convert them into actionable tasks for the development team.
2. Act as the primary post-sales point of contact by providing project updates, managing client concerns, handling scope changes, and maintaining clear communication.
3. Apply knowledge of WordPress, plugins, hosting, domains, page builders, and UI/UX principles to support requirement discussions and project execution.
4. Plan project milestones and timelines, track daily progress, and ensure timely follow-ups and delivery.
5. Coordinate with development teams, identify risks and blockers, escalate delivery issues, and recommend practical solutions.
6. Convert ambiguous client requirements into structured execution plans and handle technical queries professionally.
7. Perform basic quality assurance before client handover by verifying responsiveness, UI consistency, functionality, and adherence to the agreed project scope.
8. Ensure deliverables meet quality standards while following SOPs, checklists, and documentation processes.
9. Maintain strong ownership, attention to detail, reliability, empathy, and effective collaboration while balancing client expectations with development team capacity.

4. 4. Experience coordinating web development projects.
5. 5. Knowledge of SEO project management and reporting.
6. 6. Experience coordinating and reviewing UI/UX projects, with the ability to identify design and usability issues.
7. 7. Strong requirement-gathering, scope management, and scope control skills.
8. 8. Experience in timeline, milestone, and dependency planning.
9. 9. Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, designers, developers, and other cross-functional teams.
10. 10. Experience with quality assurance processes and client acceptance management.
11. 11. Strong documentation skills with the ability to create clear, structured, and actionable task plans.
12. 12. Ability to professionally negotiate scope changes and manage client expectations without conflict.
13. 13. Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships through trust, transparency, and effective communication.
14. 14. Proficiency in project management tools such as Trello, Asana, ClickUp, or Jira.
15. 15. Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress and Shopify.
16. 16. Proficiency in communication tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Slack.
