Role description

Fresher AutoCAD designers play a vital role in supporting the ongoing development and refinement of our design projects. Throughout the design project life cycle, they contribute to the creation and maintenance of detailed technical drawings, ensuring that all designs meet precise specifications. AutoCAD Trainees in this role are responsible for producing accurate 2D and 3D drafts, resolving any discrepancies, and continuously enhancing the quality of our work.

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fresher AutoCAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of AutoCAD software and a passion for design and drafting. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience to kick-start their career in a professional and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the creation of 2D and 3D designs and drafts using AutoCAD software. Interpret and understand technical drawings and blueprints. Collaborate with senior designers and engineers to understand project requirements. Update and modify existing designs to meet project specifications. Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards and company guidelines. Participate in project meetings to understand project scope and requirements. Maintain and organize design files and project documentation. Support the design team in day-to-day tasks and projects.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD software is required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software and technologies. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks. A portfolio showcasing any relevant projects or coursework is a plus. Knowledge of other design software like SketchUp, or SolidWorks is an advantage.
