Job description

This pivotal role involves leading the architecture, design, and governance of cutting-edge AI and agentic systems. You will be instrumental in translating business objectives into robust, scalable, and secure AI architectures, driving the adoption of multi-agent orchestration and advanced AI frameworks. The role demands a hands-on approach to guide engineering teams, resolve complex architectural challenges, and ensure solutions move from proof-of-concept to enterprise-wide adoption. You will also act as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders, shaping the strategic direction of AI initiatives.

Our client is a prominent computer software company, recognized for its innovative solutions and significant global presence. They are at the forefront of leveraging advanced technologies to drive digital transformation for businesses worldwide. With a culture that fosters continuous learning and professional growth, they empower their employees to tackle complex challenges and contribute to groundbreaking projects. This organization is committed to delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery and solutioning with stakeholders, translating business objectives into target-state agentic AI architectures and roadmaps.
  • Own end-to-end solution design, including multi-agent orchestration, tool-using agents, human-in-the-loop patterns, and RAG layers.
  • Define and enforce reference architectures, design standards, and reusable patterns for agentic AI solutions.
  • Embed security, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI principles into every design, including agent guardrails and evaluation frameworks.
  • Guide Forward Deployment Engineers, data scientists, and delivery teams from design through production, remaining hands-on at critical points.
  • De-risk delivery by resolving complex technical blockers such as legacy integration, agent reliability, and model performance.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to CIOs, CDOs, and enterprise architects, leading architecture workshops and executive briefings.
  • Support pre-sales and strategic deals through solution shaping, effort estimation, and technical proposals.
  • Convert engagement learnings into reusable assets, accelerators, and reference implementations for the agentic AI portfolio.
  • Mentor architects and senior engineers, continuously tracking and translating emerging AI advances into architecture strategies.

Requirements

  • 12–16 years of experience in software/solution architecture, data, or digital transformation, with 3+ years architecting AI/LLM or agentic AI solutions.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of architecting and delivering production AI/GenAI solutions for large enterprise clients.
  • Experience serving as a design authority across multiple concurrent engagements or programs.
  • Strong understanding of Agentic AI and LLM architectures, RAG, evaluation, and guardrails.
  • Deep knowledge of data platforms, cloud technologies, security, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in enterprise integration and legacy modernization strategies.
  • Experience engaging with CTOs, CIOs, enterprise architects, and executive stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with multi-agent system design, agent state/memory/context engineering, and framework depth (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel).
  • Understanding of model strategy, token economics, retrieval/knowledge architecture, and evaluation architecture.
