Job Title: Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer (IaC Focus)
Role Summary
Responsible for designing, developing, and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to enable automated, scalable, and secure cloud environments across AWS/Azure/GCP platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation
Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment of cloud infrastructure to ensure consistency and scalability • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and application integration • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to enable DevOps and cloud-native practices • Ensure infrastructure is aligned with security, compliance, and governance standards • Implement version control and change management for infrastructure using tools like Git • Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure high availability and performance • Integrate configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet) with IaC workflows
• Manage and administer Kubernetes clusters across multi-cloud environments (EKS, AKS, GKE), ensuring high availability, scalability, and secure cluster operations
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot containerized workloads using Kubernetes, including experience with Helm, ingress controllers, autoscaling, and cluster networking
Drive cost optimization and resource efficiency through automated infrastructure management • Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and environment replication using IaC
Mandatory Skills
• Strong experience in IaC tools (Terraform with GithubActions preferred / CloudFormation / ARM templates) • Hands-on expertise in Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) • Knowledge of scripting (Python / Bash / PowerShell) • Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) • Exposure to networking, security, and cloud architecture concepts
Preferred Skills
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments • Knowledge of cloud security frameworks and governance models • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk , Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) • Exposure to FinOps / cost optimization practices
Experience
• 5–10+ years overall IT experience • Minimum 5-8 years in Cloud & IaC
Leadership / L3 Expectations
• Provide technical guidance and architectural direction for IaC adoption • Act as SME for automation and cloud infrastructure containerization standardization • Drive best practices, reusable modules, and governance frameworks • Mentor teams and enable scalable and secure cloud adoption
