Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Support client engagements involving partnership, corporate, and individual tax services across multiple industries and entity structures.

  • Prepare and review federal, foreign, state, and local tax returns, including estimated payments and extensions.

  • Conduct tax research and assist in developing and implementing tax strategies to address client-specific requirements and issues.

  • Review extensions, quarterly estimates, and supporting workpapers to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

  • Support and coach Tax Staff through collaboration, technical guidance, and review feedback.

  • Manage multiple client engagements and priorities while maintaining quality and meeting established deadlines.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support efficient engagement execution and client service delivery.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.

  • Maintain awareness of evolving tax regulations, compliance requirements, and industry developments relevant to client engagements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field required.

  • CPA (US) or CA (ICAI) preferred. Candidates not currently certified should meet eligibility requirements to pursue certification upon hire.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in U.S. Taxation required.

  • Previous experience within a public accounting or professional services environment preferred.

  • Experience preparing and reviewing partnership (1065) and corporate (1120) tax returns required.

  • Minimum 2 years of tax preparation experience and 1 year of tax return review experience preferred.

  • Strong client service orientation with the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within collaborative team environments.

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and professional development.

  • Flexibility to support additional hours and travel requirements as needed.
