Job Description:
Responsibilities
Support client engagements involving partnership, corporate, and individual tax services across multiple industries and entity structures.
Prepare and review federal, foreign, state, and local tax returns, including estimated payments and extensions.
Conduct tax research and assist in developing and implementing tax strategies to address client-specific requirements and issues.
Review extensions, quarterly estimates, and supporting workpapers to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
Support and coach Tax Staff through collaboration, technical guidance, and review feedback.
Manage multiple client engagements and priorities while maintaining quality and meeting established deadlines.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support efficient engagement execution and client service delivery.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.
Maintain awareness of evolving tax regulations, compliance requirements, and industry developments relevant to client engagements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
CPA (US) or CA (ICAI) preferred. Candidates not currently certified should meet eligibility requirements to pursue certification upon hire.
Minimum 3 years of experience in U.S. Taxation required.
Previous experience within a public accounting or professional services environment preferred.
Experience preparing and reviewing partnership (1065) and corporate (1120) tax returns required.
Minimum 2 years of tax preparation experience and 1 year of tax return review experience preferred.
Strong client service orientation with the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
Ability to work effectively both independently and within collaborative team environments.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and professional development.
Flexibility to support additional hours and travel requirements as needed.
