Job Description:
Responsibilities
Participate in client engagements by providing corporate, partnership and individual tax services; devise, plan and execute tax strategies and research potential tax issues
Prepare and/or review returns for 990, 5500, corporate, partnership, or individuals, including federal, foreign, state and local tax return, estimated payments and extensions
Support Tax Staff in delivering including coaching and reviewing their work
Review extensions and quarterly estimates Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute towards implementing them
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
CPA (US) or CA (ICAI) preferred. Candidates not currently certified should meet eligibility requirements to pursue certification upon hire.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in U.S. taxation.
Experience in a public accounting firm with proficiency in corporate (1120) and partnership (1065) tax returns.
At least 2 years of tax preparation experience and 1 year of tax return review experience.
Strong client service skills with experience managing multiple engagements and meeting deadlines.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
Highly motivated with initiative for professional growth, and flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed.
