Job Description:

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on individual tax matters with expertise across Forms 1040, 1041, 990, and 5500.

  • Define engagement scope, objectives, and methodologies while collaborating closely with clients to understand business and tax needs.

  • Oversee the calculation, analysis, and delivery of tax planning strategies and recommendations.

  • Manage and review preparation of individual tax returns, estimated payments, and extensions while ensuring compliance with U.S. tax regulations.

  • Monitor, interpret, and apply tax laws and regulatory updates relevant to client engagements.

  • Utilize tax technologies and tools such as CCH Axcess and SurePrep to support efficient engagement delivery.

  • Support business entity tax compliance activities across multiple engagements.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, networking, and business development initiatives.

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise Tax Seniors and Staff through coaching, collaboration, and performance guidance.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.

  • Manage multiple client engagements and priorities while ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field required. EA / CPA/ CA Mandatory.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in U.S. Taxation required.

  • Previous experience within a public accounting or professional services environment preferred.

  • Strong expertise in individual taxation including Forms 1040, 1041, 990, and 5500.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading, supervising, or mentoring team members.

  • Experience supporting large, multi-state, or internationally active middle-market clients preferred.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within collaborative team environments.

  • Flexibility to support overtime and travel requirements as needed.
