Position Overview
Wipro Innovation Network (WIN) Labs is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior/Lead Robotics Simulation Engineer to join our cutting-edge Robotics and Embodied AI team. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of robotics research and development, driving innovation in scalable simulations and intelligent robotic systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced simulation environments for robotic systems using tools such as ROS, Gazebo, and NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
- Develop and optimise 3D models and robot models to enable high-fidelity, scalable simulations for various robotics applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI researchers, hardware engineers, and software developers to integrate simulation platforms with embodied AI systems.
- Lead the architecture and execution of simulation pipelines to facilitate rapid prototyping, testing, and validation of robotic algorithms and behaviours.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, promoting best practices in simulation and robotics development.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics simulation technologies and contribute to the team’s knowledge base and innovation initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in robotics simulation, preferably in an industrial or research setting.
- Expertise in Robot Operating System (ROS) and simulation platforms such as Gazebo and NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
- Strong proficiency in 3D modelling tools (Blender, Solidworks or similar) and robot modelling (e.g., URDF, SDF, CAD integration).
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing scalable simulation environments for autonomous systems.
- Solid programming skills in Python and/or C++.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimise simulation workflows.
- Experience with Ubuntu or Similar Linux Distributions
- Exposure to Cloud Services & workflows

Preferred Skills and Attributes
- Experience with reinforcement learning, machine learning, or AI-driven robotics.
- Familiarity with cloud-based simulation solutions and distributed computing for large-scale simulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated leadership in technical projects or teams is highly desirable for the Lead position.
